1. What SpreadPay is

Moovon SpreadPay™ is a premium financing service. When you use it, Moovon pays 100% of your annual motor insurance premium to your chosen insurance partner upfront, and you repay Moovon in installments. Moovon does not underwrite insurance and is not your insurer — your cover is issued and your claims are handled by the licensed partner insurer you choose.

2. Who can apply

• You must hold a valid Ghana Card, verified through the NIA, and pass a live selfie check.
• You must buy your motor policy from one of Moovon’s participating partner insurers.
• The annual premium being financed must be GH₵330 or more.
• You must have a mobile money wallet or card able to make the deposit and repayments.

3. If the plan is not repaid

Your policy is fully active from day one and your insurer handles your claims normally while you are repaying. However, if your account remains in default, Moovon may end the financing agreement and request cancellation of the policy with your insurer. Any unused premium is then treated according to your policy wording and your signed agreement. Cancellation means you would no longer be insured, so please contact us before you miss a payment — we would rather rearrange than cancel.

4. Early settlement

You may clear your outstanding balance at any time. Early settlement is encouraged and settles your agreement immediately.

5. Your insurer’s role and ours

Your partner insurer is responsible for underwriting, issuing your policy and certificate, and settling claims. Moovon is responsible for financing the premium, collecting your repayments, and administering your SpreadPay plan. Questions about cover or a claim go to your insurer; questions about payments and your plan come to us.

6. Larger facilities

A financed balance above GH₵50,000 requires approval from the partner insurer’s Relationship Manager before the plan can be activated.

7. Changes to these terms

Moovon may update these terms and this summary. Changes do not alter the terms of a SpreadPay agreement you have already entered into — those remain as accepted at sign-up.
